The use of the website implies the full acceptance of the following general terms of use. These terms of use are likely to be modified or supplemented at any time, the users of the website,,  are therefore invited to consult them regularly.

This site is normally accessible at any time to users. However, an interruption for maintenance may be decided by SOS Chrétiens d’Orient, who will then endeavor to communicate the dates and hours of the said maintenance to the users in advance.

The purpose of the website is to provide information regarding all the activities of the organization.

SOS Chrétiens d’Orient strives to provide information on the website,,  as accurate as possible. However, it cannot be held liable for omissions, inaccuracies or deficiencies in the updates, either by its fact or by third party partners who provide such information.

All the information on the website,, are informative and is likely to change. Moreover, the information on the website is not exhaustive. They are given subject to changes that have been made since they were published online.

The website cannot be held liable for equipment damage related to the use of the site. In addition, the user of the site is encouraged to access the site using a virus free hardware and the newest web browser.

SOS Chrétiens d’Orient owns the rights of the intellectual property or holds the rights of use on all the information accessible on the site, including texts, images, graphics, logo, icons, sounds, software.

SOS Chrétiens d’Orient cannot be held liable for the direct and indirect damage caused by the user's equipment, when accessing the site and resulting from the use of equipment that does not meet the specifications indicated in point 4, either from the appearance of a bug or incompatibility.

7. Personal Data Management.

In France, personal data is protected by law no. 78-87 of January 6, 1978, law no. 2004-801 of August 6, 2004, article L. 226-13 of the criminal code and the European Directive of October 24, 1995.

While using the site, the URL of the links through which the user has access to the website, the user’s access provider, the internet protocol address (IP) of the user can be collected.

In any case, SOS Chrétiens d’Orient collects personal information related to the user only for the purposes of certain services offered by the website The user provides this information with full knowledge especially when the user inputs the said data. It is also specified to the user of the website,,  the right not to provide this information.

In accordance with the provisions of article 38 and law 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on information technology, files and freedoms, any user has a right to access, correct and oppose the use of personal data relating to him or her, by writing a signed request, accompanied by a copy of the identity card with the signature of the holder and specifying the address to which the response must be sent.

No personal information of the user of the website,,  is published, exchanged, transferred or sold to any third party without the knowledge of the user. The only exemption is in the case of the acquisition of SOS Chrétiens d’Orient and its rights which would allow the transmission of the said information to the potential buyer who would in turn have the same obligation to preserve and modify the data of the user of the site.

Any litigation in relation to the use of the website,  is subject to French law. Exclusive jurisdiction is conferred to the competent courts of Paris.
